Allison was born into a family with loving parents and an older brother in the great kingdom of Kokama. She remembers the loving feeling of a whole family but at the age of 5 Allison's parents were killed in an accident. The details were kept a secret from her and her brother by her Aunt and Uncle who took the orphans in.
Allison was given a small room in the basement for a bedroom, it was cold and dark, and she remembers being locked up and constantly being told she would be nothing but a slave when she grew up. While she was kept in the basement, her brother was treated like a King. Even though the treatment of the two children was so different the relationship between the two remained the same. Her brother would often bring her new clothes, books to read, anything he got new he shared with her first or let her have it, as well as any education he received he made sure she learned it as well. He was going to make sure that she would have a life other than a slave when she grew up.
One of the books he brought down to here was a very old book of magic spells which had her fathers name in it. As she began to read it a strange sense of comfort surrounded her as if she had known the spells all along. At the age of 10 she performed her very first spell, which made her door to her room refuse to lock. No matter what her Aunt and Uncle did to the lock, it never locked again as long as she remained in that castle.
As she continued to grow up, her Aunt and Uncle had her wait on them hand and foot then one day arrived home with new clothes for her to wear. When she began looking at the clothes she noticed the small tops and flimsy skirts and asked what they were. Her Aunt told her they were the best silks and that she was to wear them so she could be sold for a large sum into slavery.
The next day she was to put on the new clothes and overheard her Aunt and Uncle talking about travel to a neighboring city to sell her. She searched for her brother and could not find him anywhere. She packed all of her belongings and performed a spell which would shield her from harm while they traveled. On the second day of traveling they were attacked by a band of nomads and her aunt and uncle were killed. Her shield of protection had worked because the nomads acted like they could not even see her. After they left she took her possessions and found some papers about her parents in her aunt’s things so she put them in her bag.
Lost and alone she didn't know where to go but began following a bright light off in the distance. She traveled by night and rested during the day and eventually reached the City if Ireem. Not knowing what else to do, she became a slave but surprisingly was never treated as one. Everyone she came into contact with treated her with the utmost respect.....confused and alone she began to read the papers taken from her aunt. She discovered her both of her parents had been Magi's, and so were both her grandparents. and had been attacked by an evil wizard who wanted them out of his way.
Her brother found her in Ireem and has become an undead. Her hope for the future is to return her brother to the living.
After learning her about her parents her interest and success in spells made sense to her, and she decided to see if she could take her place with the Magi’s of Ireem.
